Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Bello & Bubba ("we", "us") collects on belloandbubba.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to hello@belloandbubba.com.
What we collect
When you sign up for downloads:
- Your email address, first name, and country.
- Your TikTok and Instagram handles, only if you choose to give them.
- Which song you downloaded first, and the date and time you signed up.
When you use the contact form: your name, email address, and message.
When you download a song: we log the date, the song, the format (MP3 or WAV), and an anonymous ID so we can count downloads and repeat listeners. This log doesn't include your email or IP address.
Automatically: like almost every website, our server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To unlock free downloads for you.
- To email you about new releases and occasional merch news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- If you gave us a social handle, we may tag or mention you when we give fans a shoutout. Leave those fields blank if you'd rather we didn't.
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To understand, in general terms, where our listeners are and which songs bring people in.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Who else handles it
We use a few services to run things. They process your information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Kit (kit.com) stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
- DreamHost hosts this website and its server logs.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
- Fourthwall runs our shop at belloandbubba.shop, which has its own privacy policy.
These services are based in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed there.
Cookies
We set two small cookies after you sign up, only so you don't have to sign up again: one that unlocks downloads and one that tells the page you're signed up. They last one year. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscriber information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Contact form messages are kept only as long as we need them to reply. Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
- See, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@belloandbubba.com.
If you're in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on your consent to send you emails, and you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing. You also have the right to object, to ask for a copy of your data, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you're in California, you have the right to know what we collect, to ask us to delete it, and not to be discriminated against for doing so. We don't sell or share personal information as defined by California law.
Kids
This site isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll remove them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also go out by email.
